We are celebrating getting the group up and running again with a theme month!
The theme will be: Nature!
Submit your nature literature to the folder September Nature Submissions. Any literature is accepted.
At the end of the month, the admins will review everything posted and will feature the best of the best.
We're also working on getting some contest ideas together so keep your eyes open.

This group isn't Dead...
...it's just been sleepwalking in coma.
But now, it's time to pull that plug off life support and pray the body we're in starts speaking biased gibberish like a damn Veggietales character (perhaps we're like an artichoke or something?)
We would love to see some new members come in and strut their stuff.
Until then, We'll be here working on the group and waking up the dead.
Possible Literature Slam! (prizes maybe?)
I had an idea to help get people's works some attention. We would have a literature slam where we would feature between 5-10 pieces of others' works and people would comment on them. Whoever makes the most genuine and thoughtful comments would get their piece(s) featured and the next round would continue.
How it would work
Step one: The admin will select a few works from people other than ourselves to feature. They will remain featured for about 3 days or so.
Step 2: Whoever is participating will read these works and provide thoughtful comments. (one comment per piece) They will then comment on a journal saying that they made a comment (
New Group that Features Monthly Quality Writing
I started a new group, LiteraryOpulence (https://www.deviantart.com/literaryopulence), that will monthly feature the best pieces of literature submitted to our gallery. I would love it if you would join and start submitting your pieces for me to read.
To get things going, I will host a contest with a 100 point :points: prize as well as a feature once we reach 100 members. Right now we're at 40, so please join!
